Seasoned Croutons

Crisp, Seasoned Croutons - GREAT for snacking, salads, soups, etc.


1 pkg Ener-G Unseasoned Traditional Stuffing (approx. 4-5 cups)
1⁄2 cup oil (equal parts olive oil & canola/vegetable oil, blended)
2 tbsp oil or spray oil
1 tbsp dried Oregano Flakes
1 tbsp dried Basil Flakes
tbsp dried Parsley Flakes
1⁄2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional)
1⁄2 tsp Garlic Powder
1⁄2 tsp Onion Powder
1⁄2 tsp Ground Oregano
salt & ground pepper to taste (optional)
1 tbsp grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)


Preheat Oven 400º

Empty package of Ener-G Unseasoned Traditional Stuffing into a large bowl. Pour half the oil mixture over the stuffing and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and Parmesan Cheese by sprinkling over the stuffing and mix well. Add the remaining oil and continue to mix until the seasoning is coating the stuffing.

Place stuffing on a baking sheet and drizzle the remaining 2 tbsp of oil or spray oil on the mixture. Bake for 8-10 minutes. After 5 minutes of baking, move the croutons around with a long wooden spoon or flip with a spatula. Check on croutons after 8 minutes. Remove from oven when slightly golden brown or done to your likeness. Remove from oven and let cool. Store in an airtight container.


Excellent in soups or salads, for stuffing, or alone as a crunchy snack. If your oven runs hot bake at lower temperature.


Spiciness: add more cayenne pepper

Oil: works with Avocado Oil as well

Vegan: use Vegan Parmesan Cheese or leave cheese off
