Sausage with Sauerkraut & Mustard
When life gives you cabbage, you make sauerkraut! Try topping the summer sausage with this tangy combination!
4 oz Organic Sausage
1 Ener-G Hot Dog Bun
1 ½ tbsps Yellow Mustard
¼ cup Sauerkraut
Grill the sausage on a barbecue over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, turning halfway.
Lower to medium heat and transfer the sausage away from direct heat. Close the lid and grill for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160ºF (70ºC).
Toast the hot dog bun over indirect heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
Place the sausage in the hot dog bun and top with mustard and sauerkraut. Enjoy!
