This recipe makes a delicious breakfast or even dessert!
Ingredients
4 Ener-G Gluten Free Dinner Rolls
1 c. Apples - Peeled & Diced
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Directions
In a medium sized saucepan, over medium heat, cook the apples, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon, stirring often, for about ten minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the apples have broken down.
Toast the dinner rolls in the toaster oven, then let them cool, and slice them in half.
Spoon one quarter of the apple mixture onto each toasted roll.
Recipe Note
Granny Smith or Macintosh are excellent apples to use.
