Just in time for the Holidays - Crisp, Seasoned Croutons
| 8 1⁄100 | oz | Ener-G Plain Croutons |
| 1⁄2 | cup | oil (Equal parts vegetable & olive oil) |
| 1 | tbsp | italian seasoning |
| 1⁄2 | tsp | cayenne pepper |
| 1 | tsp | garlic powder |
| 1⁄2 | tsp | Ground Oregano |
| 1⁄4 | tsp | salt (optional) |
| 1 | tbsp | parmesan cheese |
Preheat Oven 400º
Directions:
Empty package of Plain Croutons into a large bowl. Pour half the oil mixture over the croutons. Add the Italian seasoning, Cayenne pepper, Garlic powder, Oregano, Salt and Parmesan cheese over the croutons and mix well. Add the remaining oil and continue to mix until the seasoning is covering the croutons. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until golden. During baking move the croutons around with a long wooden spoon. Broil for the last minute. Remove from oven and let cool.
Excellent in salads, for stuffings and alone.
