Strawberry Bread
| 1⁄2 | cup | Shortening |
| 2⁄3 | cup | granulated sugar |
| 4 | ea | eggs |
| 1 | cup | Butermilk |
| 1 | cup | Sliced Strawberries |
| 1 | tsp | baking powder |
| 1 | tsp | baking soda |
| 2⁄3 | cup | Ener-G Sweet Rice Flour |
| 1 | cup | Ener-G Brown Rice Flour |
| 1⁄3 | cup | Ener-G Rice Bran |
| 1 | tsp | almond extract |
| 1⁄2 | cup | sliced almonds |
Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Cream Shortening and sugar together. Add eggs and whip. Add Buttemilk and strawberries. Add baking Powder, Soda, Ener-G Sweet Rice Flour, Ener-G Brown Rice Flour, and Ener-g Rice Bran. Add Almond Extract. Mix at medium speed for 2 or 3 minutes.Stir in Sliced Almonds. Pour into greased bread pan 8" x 8" x 2". Bake for one hour and 5 minutes or until firm when touched in the middle.
Strawberry Frosting
8 oz Cream Cheese Room Temperature
1/2 Cup Butter Room Temperature
4 cups Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup mashed straweberies (drained well)
Mix all together until well blended. Frost cooled Loaf
