Rice Bran is a gluten-free, highly nutritious food with a pleasant flavor. It is a good source of dietary fiber (25%) and is mostly insoluble. Rice bran is the outer coating of the rice kernel. Ener-G Rice Bran is friction heat stabilized at a low temperature of 85 degrees centigrade. This process deactivates the enzymes which would otherwise cause the rice bran to become rancid in a short time.
