A top selling gluten-free flour made of 100% pure brown rice flour. Brown rice is extracted by removing the inedible hull of the rice kernel while maintaining the bran. The brown rice and bran is then milled into a fine flour, thus becomes Brown Rice Flour. Despite the name, Brown Rice Flour is only a shade darker than White Rice Flour. Though both Brown Rice Flour and White Rice Flour are interchangeable, Brown Rice Flour is much more nutritious and has a nuttier flavor. Rice Flour is commonly used in gluten-free baking, from breads and muffins to cakes and cookies. Rice Flour produces a grainier texture in baked goods, so it is typically best to combine it with other gluten-free flours for more balance. Also available in a 5 pound bag.
